Collaboration Prints wanted an inexpensive way to test the waters of selling fine art prints and gift cards on line. Our solution: a simple database-driven site that uses a free PayPal checkout process. Collaboration Prints is an interesting venture; Ann Arbor designer/artist Paul M. Hickman creates original artwork with his two young sons: Charlie, age nine, and his younger brother Joe. Learn more here . |

RobinVincent.com is the "art" site of Ann Arbor photographer Robin Vincent. The site
was kept extremely simple and designed precisely to the client's
specifications with JavaScript-powered image galleries and a
couple of simple Flash image crossfades. Considerable time was
spent calibrating the images to display as accurately as possible
across various platforms. The site also detects the visitor's

Dissociated Press is a side project of ours created by Ian Gray. Part link aggregator, part on line magazine, in its current early development stage, it's powered by WordPress with a simple HTML template front-end. Although technically developed as "blogware", WordPress can also be utilized as an easily customizeable content management system for content sites in early planning stages. This site uses an ironic ad-based revenue model: although comprised mainly of links that lead visitors to other destinations, the same visitors return regularly for more of the same. |

Findings
is a bead store in Ann Arbor, Michigan that provides a unique
selection of bead-related products, as well as offering a variety
of classes throughout the year. This was a redesign and consulting
project. The problem? Getting
all the needed info on the web and into a newsletter cheaply
and easily. Feel free to contact the owner, Gerry Dimond, about
the Microsoft Office-based solution we provided. |
|
MainWine.com
is the web site of Main Street Party Store of Ann Arbor, MI.
We had a little fun developing a drag-and-drop "Dressup
Joey" page that lets a customer create a humorous picture
of the owner, print it, and bring it to the store for a discount.
The site has backend features that allow for easy updates by
staff, even if they have no web design skills. |

Roosroast
Gourmet Coffee of Ann Arbor has received a lot of local
press due to proprietor John Roos' offbeat, friendly manner
and amazing artisanal small batch coffee, roasted locally
every day. The site features a simple main page blog and a
Paypal shopping cart, allowing visitors to order
coffee on line. Any errors in coding or design are a result
of the lead designer consuming excessive amounts of the amazing
coffee that John provided while we worked on the site, or the willy-nilly hiring of non-Interfluence talent for site updates. Roosoast is no longer an ongoing client of ours, although we still whole-heartedly recommend his coffee. |
